Accessibility Statement
How to use this site with assistive technology, and how to reach us if you cannot.
This is a starting template, prepared for Wrenfield Home Care and filled in with the business's own details. It is not final and is not legal advice. It should be reviewed end to end by Wrenfield Home Care's legal counsel, and amended to match how the business actually operates, before it is relied on.
Our commitment
Wrenfield Home Care wants everybody to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, need larger text, or have motion sensitivity. If our website does not let you do that, it is our problem to fix, not yours to work around.
What we have built for
This site was built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which is the standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act. In practice that means:
- Every control can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone
- Headings, labels and landmarks are marked up for screen readers
- Text is sized and coloured for contrast, and survives being zoomed
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives
- Animation is reduced or removed when your system asks for it
- Video is never the only way to get a piece of information
We check this as part of building and changing the site. We are not going to claim it is perfect — accessibility is something you maintain, not something you finish — and there may well be corners we have not caught.
